Ever since the chestnut filly by Redback was purchased by Team Haslam at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sales we have kept an eye on her progress, with a view to making her a welcome addition to the Mount Racing Club. The filly has been pinpointed by both Darren King and Paddy Donaghy as an early type who has already completed her stalls training and been ridden out. There is also the added fact that because she came through the Newmarket sales [Book 2] she has the Racing Post £10,000 Yearling Bonus attached to her. She looks like being one of the yards first 2yo runners and could make her debut early April.

The Sire Redback won 4 races (and total prize money of £155,815) at 2 and 3 years including the Solario Stakes 7f (Group 3) at Sandown and the Greenham Stakes 7f (Group 3) at Newbury as well as a Listed race over 7f at Newmarket, also placed in Group 1, Group 2, Group 3 and Listed races over 7f and a mile.

Retired to stud in 2003 and is the sire of the winners of 116 races and in excess of £1,100,000 prize money.

The dam, Naraina, was unraced, and is the dam of 1 winner over 7f and a mile from 2 runners. There is plenty of stamina on her side to suggest our filly should make up into a decent dual purpose type if required.
